Adorned Vintage

This was a small collection of vintage I embroidered with patches inspired by the weaving patterns I used on my 'Woven Stones', and the art of visible mending. I followed the same pattern as the check on the shirts, because if it was true mending you might want it to be as subtle as possible, but really it’s the effort and intentionality that makes it special. The creatures on the two wrangler shirts follow the same principle, and camouflage in the palette of their shirt. The vintage railroad striped hat has a more classic high-contrast mend on the back.
